There are several services available from the Division of Employment Security's (DES) Legal Services Section. You can request information about claims for unemployment benefits and employer tax records, and you can view: 

• Precedent Decisions - decisions DES may use to make decisions in administrative hearings
• Advisory Opinions - request Chief Counsel to issue opinions on specific issues  
• Interpretations Manual - how DES explains Employment Security Law
• Legal Release - requests for release of information 

Although DES mainly deals with the Employment Security Law, there are other federal and state laws that may apply in employment cases.
